Emma since joining the team has treated patients of all types and especially keen on utilising our innovative assessment technology.

Emma has not only obtained a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy, but she has also pursued a Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine. ⁠

Emma is also the head physiotherapist at Glentoran Women’s FC and is a trained APPI Pilates Instructor with previous experience in the NHS and private practise.⁠

How amazing is that! So, it is safe to say that regardless of your reason for coming to Altima she is well positioned to help.

Hugh is a Neuro-Muscular Therapist with 10 years experience treating a wide variety of patients. 

If you would like to manage a long-term condition or speed up recovery from a soft tissue injury effectively, Hugh should be your first point of contact. 

Hugh can treat chronic injuries and conditions to help provide greater mobility, relieve pain and decrease swelling. 

If sporting performance is important. Hugh will help you recover quickly from an injury or keep you in peak condition so you can perform at your best.

Mairéad is a qualified nurse turned specialist soft tissue therapist. 

She can help manage and rehabilitate injures and chronic conditions.  

This could be surgery rehabilitation; chronic conditions such as arthritis; oncology management and oncology rehabilitation; as well as diabetes. 

This specialist soft tissue work can include treating scar tissue, swelling and tissue damage. 

Often this can be managing symptoms to relieve pain and increasing mobility but can also be aiding complete rehabilitation. 

Mairéad works alongside our multi-disciplinary team to ensure we give the best treatment to our patients. Our team can also liaise directly with your GP or consultant.

Luke graduated in 2017 with a first-class honours in Physiotherapy. He has range of experience built up over the last 5 years and is specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

He has experience in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, from chronic pain, OA and inflammatory conditions to orthopaedic conditions/fractures to sport related injuries.

He has experience covering numerous senior Gaelic and Soccer clubs.

Luke has also completed modules on the lumbar and cervical spine, hip, pelvic girdle and knee.

Luke is therefore ready to help in anyway needed by our patients.

Una offers a diverse range of Podiatry treatments at the clinic in Magherafelt.

In 2019 he completed his Masters Degree in Sports Medicine and has also completed a post graduate masters module in the management of lower back pain.

Aimée is well known as a talented Sports Massage Therapist and is experienced keeping people in peak condition or helping recover from injury.

She is also a Soft Tissue Therapist working with a range of injuries and chronic conditions to maximise mobility and relieve pain to make her clients feel the very best they can.

She also provides a range of luxury treatments from Luxury Deep Tissue Massage through to Pregnancy Massage.

Christina is a HCPC and BDA registered Dietitian having graduated from the University of Ulster in 2008 with a BSc Honours Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She has 14 years’ experience as a Registered Dietitian working in both the clinical setting and within the healthcare industry. She has experience working with adults and children. She is also currently a Paediatric Dietitian in the NHS.

Her experience includes working with people of all ages with IBS, Coeliac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, heart disease, diabetes, malnutrition, and those working on weight loss goals. Within the paediatric sector sheI also works with parents on managing infant feeding, weaning, faltering growth, fussy eating and non-IgE mediated food allergies. Her current NHS role involves working with young people with Eating Disorders.

Christina is passionate about the role of nutrition in health and has worked hard to ensure that I am delivering the most up-to-date, evidence based advice.

Mya Quinn

Mya has treated plenty of patients, from an office worker with tight shoulders to a marathon runner with arthritis. ⁠


She also plays Camogie for Creggan GAC, so she understands the value of sports massage and soft tissue therapy for improving athletic performance. ⁠

Aislinn is a HCPC registered Dietitian, having completed a Bsc Hons in Dietetics in Ulster University. She graduated in 2019 with a first class honours and went on to complete a PG Dip in Sport and Exercise Nutrition. She is also completing a further module in behaviour change at present.

Aislinn has experience working across a range of nutrition related issues including weight management - achieving either weight loss or gain, inflammatory conditions, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues such as IBS and sports nutrition and performance.

Her main interest is in sport nutrition and enabling athletes and sport players to enhance their performance, health and well-being while meeting the demands of training.

A Mum of 4 and qualified lawyer, Sarah starting practicing yoga 15 years ago to de-stress and do some exercise at the same time. Now with over 400 hours of training Sarah enjoys teaching yoga as much as taking part. Sarah also has specialist training in pregnancy and postnatal yoga, yoga for babies and children as well as catering for adults across all ages and fitness levels.

Sarah’s signature vinyasa flow class is one open to all levels and is a light-hearted and welcoming avenue into meditation through movement. In a flow yoga class you will weave the postures into a sequence using breath-led movement to guide you.
